Blending Associate — Manufacturing

Pay: $18.50-$19.50/hour
Shift/Schedule: 2:30pm-1am, M-Thur
About the Role
We're hiring a Blending Associate to support daily blending operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role oversees blending room workflow, helps keep production on schedule, and ensures raw materials are blended accurately, safely, and on time — all while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
What You'll Do
- Execute and support the daily blend schedule to meet production goals
- Assign daily tasks to blending staff and temporary workers, and monitor performance against schedules
- Assist with staging, scaling, sanitation, and running blending equipment
- Accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw materials according to formulas
- Maintain daily blending summaries and performance documentation
- Coordinate with Production and Maintenance to keep operations and preventative maintenance on track
- Monitor raw material inventory and report potential shortages
- Keep blending areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Follow GMPs, quality procedures, and company policies
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and repairs as directed
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Up to one year of manufacturing or related experience preferred
- Knowledge of GMPs and Quality Assurance practices
- Forklift experience a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Comfortable with a flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Ability to understand and follow formulas and mixing instructions
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods; frequent walking, bending, squatting, and reaching
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs regularly; push/pull up to 50 lbs frequently
- Work performed near moving machinery
