We are seeking a Vice President, Global Mission Partnerships to lead international government engagement in support of the company’s mission to deliver persistent orbital intelligence for space domain awareness, space traffic management, and missile defense.

This executive will serve as a senior representative to foreign governments, U.S. Government stakeholders, and international institutions, building relationships that enable mission deployment, accelerate global adoption, and support regulatory and policy alignment.

The role requires a seasoned diplomatic and commercial leader with deep geopolitical expertise and a proven ability to translate complex government engagement into tangible mission and business outcomes in highly regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

Global Government & Diplomatic Engagement

  • Lead relationships with foreign governments, including ministries of defense, space agencies, regulators, and embassy officials
  • Serve as senior company representative in international diplomatic, defense, and space forums
  • Build trusted sovereign partnerships to enable mission success and long-term collaboration

U.S. Government Coordination & Policy Alignment

  • Partner with internal Government Relations to engage U.S. Government stakeholders, including the Department of State and Department of War
  • Ensure alignment with U.S. foreign policy, national security priorities, and regulatory frameworks
  • Navigate export control, security, and interagency processes impacting international operations

International Mission & Site Enablement

  • Lead in-country engagement strategies supporting deployment and sustainment of company systems and infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain relationships with national and local leaders supporting operational sites
  • Identify and coordinate in-country advisors, consultants, and partners to support execution
  • Partner with Engineering and Go-To-Market teams to enable international deployments
  • Support ongoing operational relationships to ensure continuity of site access and mission execution

Policy, Risk & Strategic Advisory

  • Advise executive leadership on geopolitical, regulatory, and policy developments impacting global operations
  • Provide guidance on risk, timing, and strategy for international expansion
  • Shape policy positioning and engagement strategies to support long-term growth and market access

Executive Engagement & External Representation

  • Support CEO and executive leadership in high-level international engagements
  • Develop briefing materials, strategic messaging, and executive positioning for government meetings
  • Represent the company in international forums, coalitions, and policy discussions

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with Business Development, Legal, Engineering, and Product teams to align international strategy execution
  • Ensure coordinated delivery of international initiatives across technical and commercial functions

Required Qualifications

  • 20+ years of experience in government relations, international affairs, defense diplomacy, strategic partnerships, or related leadership roles
  • Proven experience engaging senior government stakeholders (foreign ministries, defense organizations, space agencies, or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of international defense, space, or national security ecosystems
  • Experience operating in complex geopolitical and highly regulated environments
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate export control, regulatory frameworks, or cross-border technology deployment
  • Track record of building and sustaining trusted relationships with sovereign stakeholders
  • Executive-level communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally and engage frequently in-person

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting U.S. Government international engagement (Department of State, Department of War, or equivalent)
  • Background in space systems, defense technology, aerospace, or dual-use technology sectors
  • Experience working with embassies, multilateral organizations, or international coalitions
  • Familiarity with Space Domain Awareness (SDA), space operations, or missile defense missions
  • Prior senior advisory, attaché, or diplomatic experience
  • Advanced degree in International Relations, Security Studies, Political Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Established international government and defense network across allied markets
