Accountabilities
- Conduct inbound and outbound calls with prospective clinical trial participants, responding promptly to referrals, website inquiries, and marketing-generated leads.
- Perform detailed prescreening interviews using study-specific eligibility criteria to identify qualified participants for CNS clinical trials.
- Educate potential participants about clinical research, study expectations, and the screening process while building trust and rapport through compassionate communication.
- Schedule eligible participants for screening appointments and coordinate closely with clinical research staff to support enrollment activities.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all participant interactions within recruitment systems, CTMS, or CRM platforms.
- Follow up consistently with prospective participants throughout the recruitment process to maximize engagement and conversion.
- Ensure all communications comply with HIPAA, GCP, IRB, sponsor, and site-specific requirements.
- Meet established productivity, quality, scheduling, and documentation metrics while identifying opportunities to improve recruitment outcomes and participant experience.
- Participate in team meetings, ongoing training, coaching sessions, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in patient recruitment within the clinical research industry.
- Previous experience recruiting participants for CNS clinical trials is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of psychiatric and neurological conditions, including disorders such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, migraine, Alzheimer's disease, or other CNS indications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, empathetic, and patient-centered phone presence.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple studies simultaneously.
- Comfortable working toward daily and weekly productivity, quality, and enrollment goals in a metrics-driven environment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
- Experience using CTMS, CRM systems, patient recruitment platforms, or electronic prescreening tools is preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and clinical research regulations is an advantage.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, distraction-free home office.
- Spanish language skills are considered a plus.
- Availability to work full-time, transitioning from an initial Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern Time schedule during onboarding to a regular Monday–Friday 12:00 PM–8:00 PM Eastern Time schedule.
