Accountabilities:

    • Lead resolution of complex LAN, WAN, and WLAN network issues in high-security environments, ensuring minimal downtime and strong system performance.
    • Perform advanced configuration, installation, documentation, and troubleshooting of network communications equipment and infrastructure.
    • Serve as a regional point of contact for network-related incidents, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders for resolution.
    • Support and enhance routed and switched network environments, including multi-protocol routing and enterprise-scale connectivity solutions.
    • Provide technical recommendations, updates to standards, and written documentation to improve network operations and reliability.
    • Advise on network design, deployment, implementation, and standardization aligned with mission and operational requirements.
    • Requirements:

      • Active Secret clearance required.
      • DoD 8570.01 / 8570.01-M compliance at IAM Level III or equivalent certification.
      • Extensive experience in DoD healthcare information systems environments.
      • Deep technical mastery of networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, VPNs, and related standards).
      • Strong hands-on experience with enterprise networking tools such as SolarWinds Orion, network sniffers, diagnostic utilities, and cable testing equipment.
      • Experience working with firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, VPN technologies, and secure network architectures.
      • Ability to collaborate across technical teams, government personnel, and contractors while providing technical leadership and guidance.
      • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and 10+ years of progressive technical experience.
      • Required certifications: CCNP and CISSP.
