Accountabilities:

    The Mortgage Investor Sales Analyst is responsible for supporting investor delivery activities, resolving loan documentation requirements, and ensuring smooth post-closing operations. This role works closely with internal teams, investors, and agencies to manage loan transactions, audits, certifications, and compliance-related activities.

    • Provide documentation, explanations, and rebuttals to investors regarding credit-related items.
    • Manage the delivery of loans to investors and agencies, including FNMA, FHLMC, and GNMA.
    • Coordinate the request, tracking, and return of loan notes when loans cannot be sold or require repurchase processing.
    • Complete GNMA pool final certifications and support reconciliation processes.
    • Manage the delivery and purchase of loans classified as unsalable and placed into scratch-and-dent pools.
    • Obtain purchase advice documentation for FNMA and FHLMC loans.
    • Prepare loan files and supporting documentation for mortgage insurance audits.
    • Support quality control reviews for loans selected by major agencies.
    • Maintain accurate records while ensuring compliance with investor requirements and operational standards.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and improve loan sale processes.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate has mortgage industry experience, strong analytical abilities, and excellent attention to detail. They should be comfortable managing complex loan documentation, communicating with stakeholders, and working independently in a remote environment.

      • Minimum of 3 years of mortgage experience, preferably with loan processing or post-closing operations.
      • Strong knowledge of mortgage processes, investor requirements, and loan delivery procedures.
      • Experience with complex income analysis, appraisal review, and title review.
      • Proficiency with Desktop Underwriter (DU).
      • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Strong customer service and relationship management abilities.
      • Government lending experience is a plus.
      • Wholesale mortgage experience is a plus.
      • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with reliable high-speed internet access.
      • Strong attention to detail, accountability, and problem-solving skills.
