You will join a dynamic, customer-focused team dedicated to delivering high-impact transformation initiatives across the public sector. As a **Senior Account Manager** , you will be responsible for a strategic portfolio covering **French local governments** (regions, departments, metropolitan authorities, intermunicipal organizations and major cities) as well as **Local Public Enterprises (EPLs)** , including SEMs, SPLs, SEMOPs, social housing organizations, public utilities, and operators in mobility, energy, water, waste management, housing, tourism, ports and airports. This is primarily a **new business/greenfield** role. You will be responsible for building SAP's presence across dedicated accounts by defining a territory strategy, creating new business opportunities, and developing a strong ecosystem of partners, including system integrators, consulting firms, complementary software vendors and cloud providers. **Your Responsibilities** + Develop and execute territory and account plans aligned with customers' strategic priorities over a 3- to 5-year horizon. + Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders, including CEOs, CFOs, CIOs, business leaders, and executives within Local Public Enterprises. + Identify customer needs, develop compelling business cases (ROI/TCO), lead public procurement and RFP processes, and orchestrate pre-sales, delivery and partner teams throughout the sales cycle. + Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensure forecast accuracy, and drive ambitious revenue growth with a strong focus on acquiring new customers. + Manage a complex partner ecosystem while delivering an outstanding customer experience throughout the entire customer lifecycle. **Your Profile** + Proven experience selling complex enterprise software or IT solutions to large public sector or public-service organizations. + Strong understanding of French local government organizations, Local Public Enterprises, and public procurement processes, including tenders, framework agreements, and regulatory requirements. + Demonstrated success in complex enterprise sales with a strong **hunter mentality** , capable of creating opportunities from scratch, developing a healthy sales pipeline, and managing long sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders. + Proven leadership skills with the ability to align and coordinate cross-functional teams, including pre-sales, marketing, partners, legal, and delivery organizations. + Excellent communication and presentation skills in both French and English, with the ability to engage confidently with C-level executives. + Strategic mindset, creativity, innovation, and a strong results-oriented approach. **What You'll Bring** You will help accelerate the digital transformation of local public services by supporting initiatives focused on modernizing information systems, improving organizational performance, strengthening data sovereignty, and driving innovation through cloud technologies and artificial intelligence.
