Accountabilities:
- Support Account Executives with the marketing, servicing, and administration of commercial insurance accounts.
- Build trusted relationships with clients by responding to inquiries and providing guidance on basic insurance coverage questions.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and support ongoing account management activities.
- Prepare and issue insurance binders, certificates of insurance, and identification cards.
- Process invoices for new business and renewal policies, including premium adjustments and audits.
- Manage policy change requests, review endorsements for accuracy, and communicate updates clearly to clients.
- Update agency management systems and shared documentation platforms with accurate policy information.
- Assist with renewal preparation, including ordering loss runs and preparing loss summaries.
- Complete surplus lines filings, policy checks, and requests with insurance carriers.
- Coordinate premium finance quotes, flood zone determinations, and related documentation when required.
- Track open activities, follow up on outstanding items, and ensure timely completion of client requests.
- Provide support on additional projects and operational initiatives as assigned.
- 2–3 years of experience in insurance, preferably within commercial lines account management or client servicing.
- Basic understanding of Property and Casualty insurance coverages and industry practices.
- Experience working with insurance agency management systems, with Applied/Epic experience preferred or the ability to quickly learn new platforms.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and insurance documentation processes is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling policy information and client documents.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with adaptability and willingness to support evolving business needs.
- Ability to travel occasionally, up to approximately 10% of the time.
- Competitive annual salary range of approximately $80,000–$85,000, depending on experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
