Pharmacy Technician

The Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician plays a key role in supporting Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacist practice thru handling appointments, gathering and documentation of patient information through interviews with patients, families, caregivers, pharmacies, and medical providers. This role provides expertise in prior authorizations as applicable and may administer vaccines when in scope for the practice site.

Required Qualifications: 

  • H.S. Diploma or GED. 
  • Washington Pharmacy Technician License upon hire. 
  • National Certified Pharmacy Technician certification within 2 years of hire as applicable. 
  • 1 year - Pharmacy Technician experience if PTCB or 2 years Pharmacy Technician experience if without National Certification. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Coursework/Training - Pharmacy technician program (may be required in some states for pharmacy technicians). 
  • 1 year - Customer Service experience.
