Sr Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Coordination and planning of the day-to-day activities of the Pune Mechanical COE team.
  •  Project identification, planning, and tracking.
  • Interaction with LOB leaders and subject matter experts.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert on Mechanical CAD tools and processes for both the Pune team and the business as a whole.
  • Reporting on the status of the team’s projects, including tracking appropriate KPIs and SLAs

Requirements:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field, or equivalent required.
  • MS in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field, or an MBA, preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in mechanical design for critical infrastructure systems.
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams to accomplish project implementations on time, on budget, and with high quality.
  • 7+ years of design experience with a modern MCAD package required.
  • 5+ years of design experience with CREO preferred. 
  • Experience leading distributed teams.
  • Experience leading teams based in either India or China, preferred.
  • Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as required (estimated 10% of travel)
  • Solid communications skills, with fluency in both written and spoken English.
