Accountabilities:

    • Lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable data pipelines that support real-time, analytical, and machine learning-driven healthcare products
    • Own the discovery, evaluation, and integration of new datasets, including EMR, FHIR-based integrations, and third-party healthcare data sources
    • Build and maintain secure, high-quality, and well-documented data models that normalize complex healthcare workflows and client-specific variations
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product and analytical requirements into reliable data structures and transformation logic
    • Establish and promote best practices in data engineering, including architecture design, observability, data quality, and pipeline reliability
    • Partner with stakeholders to define data lifecycle management, ensuring transparency, governance, and maintainability across systems
    • Support continuous improvement of data platforms to enhance scalability, performance, and cost efficiency
    • Requirements:

      • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, including building and operating cloud-based, scalable data platforms in production environments
      • Strong experience designing and implementing complex ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformation workflows
      • Proficiency with modern data stack technologies (e.g., cloud platforms, distributed data systems, orchestration tools, and data warehouses)
      • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets, identify patterns, and troubleshoot data quality issues
      • Experience working with healthcare data or other highly regulated domains (HIPAA experience strongly preferred)
      • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and communicate complex concepts clearly
      • Experience working in ambiguous environments and independently leading end-to-end data initiatives
      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
