Financial Analyst – Global DC Margins

In this role, you will lead Data Center regional insights & actions with a focus on margin optimization.

As a member of Oracle's finance organization, you will be responsible for providing all aspects of financial support for planning and control. Assist in consolidation and reporting of financial results; preparation of annual budget. Gather, model, analyze, prepare, and summarize information for financial plans, operating forecasts, trended future specifications, etc.; on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis. Prepares recommendations based on analyzes. May perform revenue and expense analysis, headcount and headcount driven expense analysis at cost center level, tracking of product and product line revenue, reconciliation of accounts receivable, variance analysis and ad-hoc analysis as needed. You may participate in cross functional programs and projects.

Primary focus:
- Lead region-level Data Center P&L reporting, scenario & investment planning
- Drive best practices in COGs management and topline growth opportunity
- Present key findings and recommendations to Executive business/finance leadership
- Provide management with consolidated insights into drivers of gross margin, as well as risks and opportunities to facilitate decision making and future business strategies
- Communicate effectively, gather and analyze information and resolve business issues
- Support the development of business review packs, QBRs and establishment of KPIs
- Work closely and collaboratively with Finance, Operations, and business teams
Preferred skills & experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years finance experience; MBA Preferred
- Knowledge of Cloud Technology and Infrastructure preferred, but not required
- Strong finance acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent financial modeling and data analysis skills
- Effective communication and superior presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Ability to translate ideas into operational steps and follow through to closure
- Self-directed, proactive with skill to multi-task

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $59,100 to $118,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
