Position Summary
The Facilities Administrator serves as a key liaison between campus stakeholders, vendors, and central facilities teams to ensure the effective delivery of facilities services across academic, administrative, research, and public spaces. Responsible for conducting facility inspections, managing service requests, coordinating maintenance and vendor activities, supporting space-related initiatives, and ensuring a positive campus experience for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
Qualifications
Required Education:Bachelor's Degree Facilities Management, Business Administration, Operations, Management, or Engineering.
Required Experience:3+ years facilities operations, facilities coordination, office management, property management, campus operations, or a related field. Experience coordinating vendors, service providers, and facilities-related projects preferred, managing budgets and supervision.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications. Experience using work order management systems, ticketing platforms, inventory systems, or facilities management software. Ability to analyze operational data and prepare reports. Physical Requirements: Ability to perform regular campus walkthroughs and facility inspections. Ability to lift, carry, or move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to navigate multiple campus buildings, stairwells, and work environments throughout the day.

Additional Information
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $80,300.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
