Accountabilities:
- Design, deploy, and operate enterprise-grade platform services across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments.
- Build and maintain platform capabilities across compute, storage, networking, data processing, and observability.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform to automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management.
- Implement GitOps-based deployment strategies using tools such as ArgoCD and GitHub Actions.
- Build, administer, and optimize Kubernetes clusters supporting production workloads.
- Manage distributed data platforms and large-scale infrastructure components, including Hadoop-based environments.
- Design and maintain distributed object storage solutions such as MinIO and S3-compatible platforms.
- Deploy and optimize distributed caching systems such as Redis and Memcached.
- Implement enterprise observability solutions using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
- Automate CI/CD workflows to improve deployment speed, consistency, and reliability.
- Ensure infrastructure scalability, availability, resilience, and operational excellence.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform performance optimization across platforms.
- Support capacity planning, scalability initiatives, and infrastructure improvement projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish strong platform engineering practices.
- 8+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Proven experience designing and operating enterprise-scale infrastructure platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
- Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes administration, cluster lifecycle management, and production operations.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform and infrastructure automation practices.
- Experience with GitOps methodologies, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipeline automation.
- Experience managing distributed data platforms, including Hadoop or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of distributed storage solutions such as MinIO and S3-compatible object storage.
- Experience working with distributed caching technologies such as Redis and Memcached.
- Strong understanding of observability platforms, including OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
- Experience with Linux administration, system performance tuning, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of backup strategies, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and scalability forecasting is preferred.
- Familiarity with artifact repositories such as Nexus or similar platforms is a plus.
- Experience with enterprise-scale platform modernization initiatives is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with ownership and accountability.
- Experience mentoring engineers and promoting infrastructure best practices.
