Specifically, as an Kitchen & Laundry Technician for Waldorf Astoria Maldives, you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
To fully support the Company’s values and culture to ensure guest satisfaction.
To be fully familiar with the Waldorf Astoria Hotel and the Quality Assurance Audit and to follow these standards of service at all times.

To assist Engineering staff members in the correct principles / Engineering procedures associated with the construction / repair of building structures associated with the Hotel operation.
To be willing and responsible to perform any duties as designated by Management.
To report to work punctually wearing the correct uniform and nametag at all times.
Effectively communicates with other Team Members including concessionaires and third parties.
Works closely with all departments of the resort to ensure a thoroughly enjoyable experience for the guests and a profitable hotel operation.

To assist the DOE / Assistant Chief Engineer in the management of Engineering team members associated with Human Resource matters.
To be fully conversant with all Occupational Health and Safety, Fire and Evacuation procedures.
Seeks to minimise costs through correct use and handling of hotel property and equipment.
To ensure that a record is kept of the maintenance requests as required by the Brand standards
To perform planned maintenance schedules and emergency breakdowns on all electrical & refrigeration equipment as requires by the Senior K&L Technician or delegate.
To perform installation work on, kitchen, laundry & refrigeration equipment as require by the Senior K&L Technicianor delegate.
To perform all tasks in a safe and tradesman-like manner.
To assist the Senior K&L Technician in the day to day operation of the Hotel complex. Ensuring maintenance requests are completed in a timely manner, that the purchasing requests for equipment items are submitted to the Cordinator or delegate as not to disrupt the hotel operation.
To assist the Senior Kitchen & Laundry technician also AMM in the sourcing and purchasing of spare parts and in maintaining an inventory.
To ensure that a record is kept of the maintenance requests & all operating Kitchen & Laundry equipment as required for the smooth running of the hotel.
To report any electrical works you feel may contravene the MEB standards or any other relevant codes or bylaws to the DOE /CE /AMM or delegate
Prioritize work as required to lessen guest discomfort.
To ensure update regulerly plan preventive maintenance schedule of Kitchen and Laundry equipments.
Maintain & keep update engineering log book daily basis.
To take an extra resposibility of repair & maintenance of Kitchen & Laundry equipments whenever absence of senior kitchen & Laundry technician.
To be responsible in adhering to the safety standards given in material safety data sheets and equipment specifications sheets.
To ensure all areas you are working in are left clean and tidy.
To operate, install and maintain electronic or microprocessor controlled equipment to areas of the Hotel complex.
