System Test Engineer

**Introduction** We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented fresher to join our Quality Assurance team as a System Test Engineer. The candidate will work closely with senior engineers, development teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders to validate enterprise, cloud, and virtualization solutions. This role provides hands‑on exposure to system testing, automation, and modern QA practices in a real‑world environment. **Your role and responsibilities** * Assist in the design, development, and execution of functional and system test cases for on‑premises, cloud, and enterprise environments. * Participate in validation of server and storage virtualization solutions, focusing on basic performance, reliability, scalability, and interoperability aspects. * Analyze product requirements and system architecture to understand features and contribute to test scenarios and test strategies. * Execute end‑to‑end system testing, including integration and regression testing, under guidance from senior team members. * Identify, log, and track defects using standard defect‑tracking tools and coordinate with development teams for resolution. * Gain hands‑on exposure to virtualization technologies and learn to identify functional gaps, edge cases, and risk areas. * Support the development and maintenance of test automation scripts and frameworks using Python to improve test efficiency and coverage. * Follow QA best practices, including test case documentation, traceability, test coverage tracking, and basic reporting. * Learn and explore new testing tools, automation techniques, and technologies to continuously improve testing effectiveness. * Assist in root cause analysis of defects and contribute to process and quality improvement initiatives. **Required technical and professional expertise** Exposure to Server Architecture of various Hypervisors, Storage Domain (SAN, NAS, NVMe, SAS, SATA), Networking ( FC, FCoE, ISCSI, TCP/IP) and Hardware knowledge. Good knowledge of one or more Server operating systems (Linux, Ubuntu, RHEL or Suse, ESXi ) and Virtualization technologies Knowledge and experience on Automation languages using Python/Perl and Cypress Good understanding on Jenkins and DevOps Strong logical, debugging and creative problem-solving skills, good oral and written communication skills, and excellent analytical skills Have knowledge on Vulnerability scanning and experience in use of tools to check a network or website for known vulnerabilities **Preferred technical and professional experience** Exposure to Server Architecture of various Hypervisors, Storage Domain (SAN, NAS, NVMe, SAS, SATA), Networking ( FC, FCoE, ISCSI, TCP/IP) and Hardware knowledge.
