Job Summary
Define and execute the Finance data strategy to establish a trusted enterprise data foundation that enables transformation, AI, automation, and advanced analytics. Lead data governance, quality, stewardship, standards, and business data architecture while enabling development of scalable data products, standardized KPIs, and enterprise data models. Partner across Finance, IT, and business functions to ensure trusted, accessible, and AI-ready data that accelerates decision-making and delivers measurable business value. The role will also be responsible to dive data literacy programs for finance users
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the Finance Data Strategy and roadmap aligned with Finance and enterprise transformation priorities.
- Partner with IT and BI teams to establish and govern Finance data policies, standards, ownership, and stewardship to ensure trusted, consistent, and compliant data.
- Drive the Finance data governance operating model, including governance forums, decision-making, and accountability across functions.
- Define the target Finance data architecture, critical data domains, enterprise data models, and standardized business definitions.
- Prioritize strategic data capabilities and investments to enable AI, automation, analytics, and digital transformation.
- Establish data quality, metadata, lineage, and governance frameworks, monitoring adherence through appropriate governance mechanisms.
- Partner with Finance, IT, Enterprise Data, and business leaders to align data priorities, influence enterprise data strategy, and resolve cross-functional data challenges.
- Define governance metrics and oversee the maturity and adoption of Finance data capabilities, ensuring alignment with strategic business outcomes.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in data architecture, strategy, data policies, governance and driving analytics, statistical modelling, machine learning, or a related field initiatives for finance domain
