Role Summary
Highly motivated resource to support and lead Order-to-Cash (OTC) Release Management and Regression Testing activities across Supply Chain applications. The role requires strong functional and technical understanding of OTC processes, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to independently manage end-to-end release readiness, testing strategy, production deployment validation, and stabilization activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive end-to-end OTC Regression Testing and Release Management activities for planned releases, enhancements, fixes, and projects.
- Review and understand release scope, technical changes, business requirements, and solution design from development teams and functional stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive regression test plans and testing strategies based on release impact assessments and business process criticality.
- Identify, create, and maintain regression test scenarios and test cases covering end-to-end OTC business processes and integrations.
- Set up, validate, and maintain required test data in test environments to ensure effective execution of regression and new functionality testing.
- Load, organize, maintain, and manage test cases and execution cycles within TestRail and other testing tools.
- Execute and coordinate regression testing activities across multiple applications and cross-functional teams.
- Be accountable for complete regression test coverage, execution quality, defect tracking, and sign-off readiness.
- Perform validation of both existing functionality and newly introduced capabilities to ensure business continuity and production stability.
- Drive defect triage discussions and coordinate resolution with development and functional teams.
- Manage Release Readiness activities including test planning, execution governance, deployment support, Go-Live readiness reviews, and stakeholder communications.
- Lead Move-to-Production (MTP) readiness activities and perform post-production validation to ensure successful deployment outcomes.
- Conduct impact assessments, risk analysis, and provide recommendations for release approval decisions.
- Track and communicate testing progress, quality metrics, risks, and release status to stakeholders and leadership.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong functional knowledge of Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes and related Supply Chain business operations.
- Hands-on experience in Regression Testing, UAT, Release Management, and Production Deployment support.
- Proven experience developing test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test data strategies.
- Strong working knowledge of TestRail, JIRA, SAP, OIS, OSS, EClaims, 3W and other critical Supply Chain applications.
- Ability to understand technical solution designs and translate them into effective testing strategies.
- Strong knowledge of defect lifecycle management and quality assurance practices.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and coordination capabilities.
- Ability to independently lead testing and release activities with minimal supervision.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated ownership mindset with accountability for end-to-end release quality and production readiness.
- Strong understanding of integrated business processes and system dependencies across Supply Chain applications.
- Experience coordinating across business, development, support, and testing organizations.
- Proven ability to drive high-quality releases while balancing business timelines and production stability.
