Division Director

This position is located in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Clinical Standards and Quality, Quality Measurement & Value Based Incentives Group, Division of Clinician Quality. As a Division Director, (Supervisory Health Insurance Specialist,GS-0107-15), you will lead a team responsible for coordinating with CMS components, the medical community, and external partners to identify, develop, revise, and evaluate quality measurement strategies and performance measures. Leads Division operations by planning short and long-range goals, budgets, and work plans aligned with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) priorities. Oversees quality measurement strategies for ambulatory care settings under the Quality Payment Program (QPP) and Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS). Supervises and manages Division staff, including assigning work and evaluating performance. Advises Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) senior leadership on quality reporting and value-based purchasing program policy. Coordinates with the medical community and external partners to develop and evaluate performance measures.
