With our competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, we have the right opportunities to fit your life and launch your career today.The Sentinel program has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Safety Engineer to join the team in Roy, Utah supporting activities including use case development, requirements definition / allocation, functional decomposition, interface definition, verification & validation, and requirements traceability.  What you will get to do:Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop supporting systems engineering and design artifacts. Work with both technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature architecture content of large programs design. Help develop and incorporate the appropriate requirements for the system and ensure that they are properly represented in the model. Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis. Develop unifying model techniques, procedures, and processes (for model development, tool integration, and team integration)The candidate will have experience in generation or review of design artifacts to support System Safety analyses utilized in maturing weapons system design for safety and support flight test and flight worthiness of complex systems.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of experience with Bachelor's degree, 0 years of experience with Master's degree.Must be a US Citizen with an Active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs2 years' experience with C/C++, Java, object oriented design, or similar experience Strong written and verbal communication skills of the English language is desired Preferred Qualifications:1 or more years System Safety Engineering experienceExperience using MIL-STD-882E or similar processes for hardware and /or software design development Execute developed processes in Engineering and Manufacturing Development PhaseSoftware development or coding experience.Experience using DO-178 for design development. Experience developing in an Agile environment. Model Based Systems Engineering...
