Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for delivering exceptional support and customer service? Kuehne+Nagel is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our team in Tallinn. In this role, you will provide expert technical support for enterprise IT applications, troubleshoot complex issues, and help ensure the stability and performance of business-critical systems. How you create impact
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve incidents and service requests using structured troubleshooting and problem-solving methodologies.
- Manage support tickets within agreed service levels, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with stakeholders.
- Provide emergency support and escalate complex technical issues when required to ensure minimal business disruption.
- Contribute to knowledge management by developing documentation, maintaining knowledge base articles, and sharing expertise across the team.
- Collaborate with IT teams, business units, and external service providers to support system stability and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, participate in training and development activities, and support on-call operations as part of a rotational schedule.
What we would like you to bring
- Bachelor's degree or professional education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve technical issues effectively.
- Ability to learn quickly and become proficient with new technologies, applications, and systems.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused approach.
- Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming concepts, preferably Java, and experience working with relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL, including SQL knowledge.
- Basic experience with Unix/Linux operating systems and the ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team environment.
