Accountabilities:

    • Define and build a new venture focused on solving skilled labor challenges within the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) construction ecosystem.
    • Leverage deep industry knowledge to identify workforce bottlenecks, operational inefficiencies, and opportunities where AI can create measurable impact.
    • Develop the company vision, product strategy, market positioning, and roadmap from the earliest stages of venture creation.
    • Conduct customer discovery, validate market needs, identify target customers, and develop solutions aligned with contractor and industry requirements.
    • Build and lead a high-performing founding team by attracting, hiring, and developing exceptional talent.
    • Create a scalable go-to-market strategy to achieve early traction, customer adoption, and initial revenue milestones.
    • Work with experienced operators and advisors across business strategy, product development, growth, recruitment, legal, and other critical areas.
    • Use available resources, funding, and networks to accelerate product development, market validation, and fundraising preparation.
    • Establish a venture-backed company designed to improve workforce availability, project execution, and efficiency across critical infrastructure industries.
    • Requirements:

      • Experience as an early-stage operator, founder, industry expert, or business leader with strong knowledge of MEP projects, skilled trades, construction, or workforce solutions.
      • Deep understanding of challenges related to electrical, mechanical, plumbing, commissioning, or construction workforce management.
      • Experience in one or more relevant areas, including product development, software, business operations, workforce platforms, contractor solutions, or industry technology.
      • Ability to identify complex industry problems and translate them into scalable technology-driven solutions.
      • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build and lead a venture-backed company.
      • Demonstrated ability to attract, hire, and manage high-performing teams.
      • Passion for technology and its ability to transform traditional industries.
      • Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills with the ability to engage customers, partners, and investors.
      • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with high ownership and accountability.
      • Based in Canada or the United States with the ability to collaborate across North American time zones.
