The Role
Behind every air shipment lies a promise of speed, precision, and trust. As an Air Logistics Operational Care Specialist, you’ll be the one ensuring that promise is kept. Based in Brisbane, you’ll coordinate shipments end‑to‑end, manage documentation, and monitor performance to deliver seamless service for our customers.
This role is about being the operational backbone of air logistics , balancing customer expectations with compliance, solving challenges before they escalate, and keeping every detail aligned with our standards. You’ll thrive in a hybrid working style, collaborating with colleagues across the Operational Care Centre and beyond to make sure every shipment tells a story of reliability.
Responsibilities
- Customer promise delivery: Ensure operational excellence across all shipments.
- Documentation & compliance: Process and monitor cargo documentation with accuracy.
- Coordination: Align with OCC, gateways, warehouses, and customs teams to keep shipments moving.
- Problem solving: Resolve discrepancies and support inspections to maintain smooth operations.
- Continuous improvement: Track performance, contribute to efficiency initiatives, and support transformation goals.
Requirements
- Knowledge of freight forwarding processes and regulations.
- Experience in air logistics operations.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Familiarity with KN systems and operating model (preferred).
- Team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Adaptability in fast‑paced environments.
- Clear communication across teams and stakeholders.
- Proactive approach to solving challenges and improving processes.
