Accountabilities:
- Develop and analyze financial models to assess project impacts, business cases, and valuation scenarios related to strategic initiatives and M&A transactions.
- Conduct detailed financial and commercial analysis to identify key drivers, opportunities, risks, and recommendations for decision-makers.
- Support and coordinate due diligence activities for acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic projects.
- Review business initiatives comprehensively by assessing financial, operational, legal, and market considerations.
- Analyze contractual and financial documentation to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with international teams and stakeholders across different business units to support global transactions and initiatives.
- Prepare presentations and communicate financial insights directly to senior leadership, including executive stakeholders.
- Partner with business development teams to evaluate opportunities and support strategic growth initiatives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of corporate finance processes, reporting, and analytical approaches.
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of professional experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, investment analysis, or related fields.
- Strong financial modeling skills with experience developing valuation models and analyzing business cases.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with executives, colleagues, customers, and financial institutions.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- MBA, M.Sc., or equivalent advanced degree is considered an asset.
- Professional certifications such as CBV, CPA, or CFA completed or in progress are considered an asset.
