  • To sell, register and assign rooms.

  • To attend to guest complaints, requests and inquiries and refer them to the Supervisor or Manager if they cannot be handled within his/her jurisdiction.

  • To handle group check-in or check-out.

  • To give out directions to and from the hotel.

  • To make table reservations for guest in and out of hotel.

  • To keep accurate log of any credit arrangements.

  • To be fully aware of the banquet functions in order to answer inquiries.

  • To print all necessary reports and distribute them accurately.

  • To escort VIPs to the room in the absence of the Duty Manager or Guest Relations Officer.

  • To escort guest to show rooms upon request. 

  • To escort every check-in guest to the room and introduce all facilities while rooming the guest.

  • To maintain the counter clean and tidy.

  • To follow up on any instructions given by the Supervisor.

  • To handle room change with care and follow up on all documents required.

  • To help in taking reservation when the reservation office is closed.

  • To explain to guest for any items appear on the bill with patience and courtesy.

  • To handle foreign exchange according to the established rates and hotel policy.

  • To handle any credit requests according to the hotel policy.

  • To handle paid out with care.

Guest and Team Member Experience

  • Full adherence on the company’s policy on Harassment and Violence-Free Workplace

  • Ensures a strong professional relationship with all levels of Team Members within the hotel, taking an active interest in their welfare, safety and development.

  • Respectful of the time of the organization as well as that of other Team Members. Puts a high value in promptness for any related work attendance matters, be it training, meetings or daily work.

  • Encourages Team Members to be creative and innovative, challenging and recognizing them for their contribution to the success of the operation.

 

Communication 

  • Ensures that the confidentiality of all Team Member information and benefits packages must be strongly adhered to.

 

Operational

  • Assists in making sure that Team Members’ Hub area and other facilities are maintained to high standards of operation.

  • Monitors and maintains the proper appearance of the kitchen area.

  • Ensures that the Brand Service Standards is fully implemented and adhered to

     

Other Duties

 

  • Ensures to follow all hotel, company and local rules, policies and regulations relating to fire and hazard safety, and security.

  • Sets an example on luxury image 

  • Attends training sessions and meetings as when required.
