Lead the annual Long-Term Supplier Declaration (LTSD) process for designated operations all medical sites based in Switzerland (7 sites) and coordinate export license administration across assigned EMEA operations.
Position Summary
The Trade Compliance Specialist is a mid-level Trade Compliance professional responsible for leading complex compliance activities and supporting customer-focused trade compliance initiatives across assigned operations, including origin determination and preference qualification activities throughout EMEA. This role leads and manages the annual Long-Term Supplier Declaration process across assigned EMEA sites and serves as a subject matter expert on preferential and non-preferential origin requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead advanced trade compliance reviews across assigned operations.
- Manage Export Licenses, determination, application, maintenance and reporting.
- Assess compliance risks associated with imports, exports, and customs activities.
- Provide guidance regarding trade regulations and customs requirements.
- Support development and implementation of compliance procedures and controls.
- Coordinate responses to audits and regulatory inquiries.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Finance, Legal, and Commercial teams.
- Identify compliance risks and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Support strategic compliance initiatives and continuous improvement across assigned operations.
- Lead and manage the annual Long Term Supplier Declaration collection, validation, and compliance process for assigned Jabil sites.
- Conduct preferential and non-preferential origin determinations.
- Analyze Bills of Material, supplier declarations, and sourcing data.
- Maintain and support Preference Determination processes within SAP GTS.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of origin-related master data and supplier declarations.
- Support audits, regulatory inquiries, and compliance assessments.
- Provide guidance to Procurement, Operations, Supply Chain, and Customs stakeholders.
- Monitor regulatory developments relating to FTAs and origin rules.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Specialized training or recognized qualifications in preferential and non-preferential rules of origin, EU customs legislation, and Free Trade Agreements preferred.
Regional and global education equivalencies accepted.
Experience Requirements
• 4–9+ years of Trade Compliance, Customs Compliance, International Trade, or Regulatory Affairs experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in preferential and non-preferential origin determination.
• Experience managing LTSD processes.
• Strong SAP GTS Preference Determination experience required.
• SAP GTS E4H experience preferred.
Key Skills and Knowledge
• In-depth knowledge of origin determination methodologies with competence in:
preferential and non-preferential rules of origin;
origin calculations and Bill of Materials analysis;
supplier declarations and supporting documentation;
issuance and verification of proofs of origin;
Advanced understanding of European FTAs
• Strong SAP GTS functional knowledge.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
- Polish and English required, Italian, German, French, and Hungarian is a plus.
