Role

Manage a team of specialists that performs tasks under Road Logistics on behalf of the countries in an accurate and timely manner as per the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).and ensure that the team meets service expectations in accordance with agreed KPIs.Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives for the Business Unit and support site goals and CI activities and ensure staff are trained on the appropriate CI tools on a yearly basis.

Your Responsibilities

•  Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives for the Business Unit and support site goals and CI activities and ensure staff are trained on the appropriate CI tools on a yearly basis. 
• Perform Daily Reviews / Huddles and update results.
• Handle RT and other technical issues
•  Serves as the first point of contact for escalations
• Perform skills assessments using the Skills Matrix and submits to manager for follow up. 
• Trains new hires and ad-hoc topics where needed. 
• Understands new tasks that are migrated and ensures instructions are understood by the team
• Performs daily quality checks to ensure high level of work quality and productivity
• Conducts timely coaching/feedback to staff for performance improvements
• Conducts regular performance reviews
• Review / Analyze individual team performance and reports any issues/feedback to the manager
• Manage team attendance
• Seeks ways for continuous improvements
• Perform other duties as assigned

Your Skills and Experiences

• Bachelor's Degree
• Has at least 2 yrs leadership experience
• Experience in Freight Forwarding is an advantage
• Proficient in MS Excel (intermediate) and other MS applications (intermediate)
• Solid knowledge in International Geography
• Highly Analytical and Process oriented 
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Good and effective communication skills
