Role summary

The Regional Process Owner (RPO) for Record to Report (R2R) in APAC is the primary in-region steward of the end-to-end R2R process. Reporting to the Global Process Owner (GPO) for R2R, this role bridges global process standards with the practical realities of operating across APAC's diverse regulatory environments, legal entities and business segments.

The RPO partners with regional Finance leadership, JLL Business Services (JBS), JLLT and FinOps to drive process consistency, governance and continuous improvement across the APAC region — translating global strategy into local execution.

This role is a key contributor to JLL's Accelerate 2030 strategy, specifically the Unlock Platform Excellence imperative — building standardised processes, automated workflows and a technology-enabled platform that delivers consistent, high-quality service experiences at scale across JLL.

What your day-to-day will look like

Process governance and standardisation

  • Map APAC R2R process flows across segments, countries and legal entities to maintain a clear and current view of the regional landscape.
  • Implement global R2R governance standards at the regional level, adapting where necessary for local regulatory or statutory requirements.
  • Ensure all SOPs, process maps, training materials and security controls for the APAC region are reviewed, localised and kept up to date.
  • Monitor regional compliance with global process controls and escalate deviations to the GPO promptly.

Stakeholder partnership

  • Serve as the primary regional liaison between the GPO, regional Finance leaders, JBS and FinOps on all R2R matters.
  • Collaborate with regional Finance and business stakeholders to conduct process assessments, identify best practices and surface improvement opportunities specific to APAC.
  • Support the GPO in defining clear roles and responsibilities across JLLT, JBS and regional Finance teams for BAU process management within APAC.
  • Act as the regional escalation point for day-to-day R2R execution issues, working with JBS and FinOps to resolve them efficiently.

Technology and data

  • Assess the effectiveness of R2R technology tools across the APAC region and provide structured feedback to the GPO and JLLT on utilisation gaps and enhancement opportunities.
  • Support JLLT's delivery of system enhancements in APAC, coordinating regional go-live readiness, user acceptance testing and post-implementation review.
  • Partner with the Finance data team to track regional R2R performance metrics and identify data-driven opportunities for continuous improvement.

Change management

  • Manage regional change initiatives that directly or indirectly affect R2R, ensuring dependencies are identified and sequenced appropriately.
  • Coordinate with the GPO to prioritise APAC change workstreams and ensure regional resourcing aligns to agreed priorities.
  • Serve as the regional point of contact for R2R process and technology change requests originating from APAC Finance or business teams.
  • Drive adoption of new processes and tools across the region through clear communications, training and hands-on support.
  • Contribute to JLL's Accelerate 2030 Platform Excellence imperative by actively supporting the simplification and standardisation of R2R workflows across APAC, enabling more efficient operations and faster integration of new talent and acquisitions.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across Finance, technology and operations teams at senior levels.
  • Experience working with shared services or outsourced Finance operations (BPO/GBS/JBS model).
