- Opportunity to Be a Part of "Balance Sheet Assurance (BSA-S&B)" GFO - Global Record to Report, Controllership, Global Finance Team in India
- The job will require colleagues to support BSA – Salary and Benefits function for one or more US and International markets being serviced from APAC - India.
- The successful candidate will require day-to-day interaction with Payroll Operations, Benefit Operations, Payroll Vendors, Market Colleague Partners, Controllership Teams, and other key stakeholders in the process.
- Supporting end-to-end BSA – S&B functions for one or more US and International markets.
- End-to-end accounting of Salaries and Benefits (S&B), including ensuring the adequacy of all long- and short-term colleague-related liabilities, Net Pay, statutory liabilities, PIT, Social Security Cost, Garnishments, etc.
- Monthly Trial Balance Review to ensure accuracy and completeness of S&B bookings.
- Reconciliation of bank accounts, all regulatory liability accounts, employee loan & receivables accounts, suspense & clearing accounts, etc., in accordance with the Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations Procedure, including research and clearance of open reconciling items.
- Support maintaining a healthy status of Balance Sheet Reconciliations for accounts under BSA S&B ownership.
- Support the S&B Reporting process for the respective US and International markets, including Severance Reporting, Colleague Loan Reporting for BHC submission, Entity Responsibility Center Reporting to multiple Business Units, etc.
- Support US GAAP and Local GAAP audits for the Salaries and Benefits report line for the respective US and International markets.
- Support the GL workstream for all upstream Payroll & Benefit system changes and projects.
- Timely escalation of matters requiring leadership intervention.
- Independently liaise with Payroll Vendors and other key stakeholders, analyzing and resolving Salaries & Benefits-related critical issues to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to ensure seamless accomplishment of day-to-day deliverables.
- Actively participate in process improvement initiatives and provide periodic status updates to the Leadership Team.
- Manage query resolution from various stakeholders.
Commerce Graduate with preferably 1+ years of experience in Finance and/or Financial Operations.
- End-to-end knowledge of Payroll & Benefit Operations, balancing and control accounting, and reconciliation knowledge will be an added advantage.
