Digital Marketing Executive - Paid Media & Performance | 12-month fixed term contract

TE TŪRANGA | THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our Growth and Acquisition Marketing team on a 12-month fixed-term basis, working across both of our Auckland CBD and Mt Wellington offices.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys bringing digital campaigns to life, collaborating with agencies and internal teams, and using performance results to make campaigns better.
You’ll work across Sky’s entertainment and product portfolio, including Neon, supporting paid media campaigns that help us attract new customers, engage existing customers and promote the entertainment Kiwi love.

Day to day, you’ll help coordinate and deliver campaigns, brief agency and internal partners, monitor performance, prepare reporting and ensure activity is delivered accurately and on time.
You don’t need to be a specialist in every area of growth marketing. You may currently be working as a Digital Marketing Executive, Media Executive, Account Executive or Campaign Executive and be looking for an opportunity to build your experience in performance marketing, testing and optimisation.

This role would suit someone who is organised, curious, comfortable working with data and keen to take greater ownership of digital campaign performance.

NGĀ HAEPAPA | ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and deliver paid digital campaigns across customer acquisition, engagementand retention.
• Develop clear briefs for media agencies, creative teams and internal partners.
• Manage campaign timelines, approvals and deliverables to ensure activity launches accurately and on schedule.
• Monitor campaign performance and prepare regular reports that clearly explain results, trends and opportunities.
• Work with media partners to refine targeting, creative and channel activity based on performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, content, product, customer communications and analytics.
• Support campaign testing and optimisation, including creative, audience, offer and landing-page tests.
• Help manage campaign budgets and ensure spend is tracked accurately.
• Carry out campaign quality assurance, checking links, creative, messaging, targeting and tracking before launch.
• Identify practical opportunities to improve campaign delivery and performance.

NGĀ PŪKENGA ME NGĀ WHEAKO | WHAT YOU’LL BRING

We’re looking for an organised and collaborative digital marketer who takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
​
You’ll ideally have around two to three years’ experience in digital marketing, media, campaign management or a related role, either within an agency or an in-house marketing team.
​
You will also bring:

• Experience supporting or delivering paid digital media campaigns.
• Experience briefing agencies, creative teams or other campaign partners.
• Confidence working with campaign data and producing clear performance reporting.
• A practical understanding of digital media channels such as paid search, paid social, display or video.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliverables.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to build positive working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
• A curious and proactive approach, with an interest in learning more about testing, optimisation and performance marketing.
• Experience with A/B testing, conversion optimisation, customer segmentation or      marketing automation would be valuable, but is not essential.
