Responsible for the maintenance and control of the hotel’s room inventory. Responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operation of the Front Office with regard to room inventory, i.e., organizing guest room moves, controlling sell-out days, and supervising upgrades.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience as a Room Controller, Front Office Supervisor, or similar role in a 4-star or 5-star luxury hotel.
  • Strong knowledge of Front Office operations, room inventory management, and room allocation strategies.
  • Proficient in Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera PMS; knowledge of Opera Cloud is an advantage.
  • Excellent understanding of room status, guest preferences, VIP handling, and room blocking procedures.
  • Strong coordination skills with Housekeeping, Engineering, Reservations, and Guest Services to ensure seamless room readiness.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused mindset.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written; additional foreign language proficiency is an advantage.
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Well-groomed, professional appearance, and committed to delivering exceptional luxury guest experiences.
