Major Accountabilities:
Lead the design and development of vehicle system architectures to meet product requirements and customer needs.
Define the overall structure, components, interfaces, and interactions of vehicle systems, ensuring scalability, modularity, and maintainability.
Conduct analysis of system capabilities to ensure alignment with project objectives, technical requirements, and business goals.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and prioritize system requirements, translating them into clear and concise specifications.
Define integration strategies and plans for integrating individual components and subsystems into cohesive vehicle systems.
Develop and execute verification plans to validate the integration of vehicle systems and ensure compliance with functional and performance requirements.
Perform testing, simulation, and analysis to verify system-level functionality, interoperability, and reliability.
Utilize model-based system engineering techniques and tools to create and analyze system models, architecture diagrams, and design artifacts.
Drive the adoption of MBSE methodologies to improve system design, development, and validation processes.
Conduct risk assessments, including Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), to mitigate risks and ensure the safety and reliability of vehicle systems.
Develop validation and verification strategies to ensure that vehicle system architectures meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Define test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria for validating system functionality and verifying compliance with specifications.
