Vice President, Fullstack Engineer

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer  to join our ENTERPRISE RISK TECH RISK ENGINEERING team. This role is located in Pune.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications using Java-based backend technologies and modern frontend frameworks.
  • Build and maintain scalable RESTful APIs, microservices, and web applications.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Drive best practices in software design, coding standards, testing, security, and performance optimization.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technology strategy and engineering roadmaps.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable fixes and improvements.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team capability building.
  • Support CI/CD implementation, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
  • Ensure applications meet reliability, availability, and compliance standards.
  • Work within Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and delivery.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Significant experience in full-stack application development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Microservices architecture.
  • Experience with frontend technologies such as Angular, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, web services, and integration patterns.
  • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, build tools, and deployment automation.
  • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), design patterns, and secure coding practices.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
     

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, MQ, or RabbitMQ.
  • Exposure to test automation frameworks and performance tuning.
  • Prior experience in technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring.
