Engineering Support Assistant

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Create and manage purchase requests for components, tools, and test equipment materials
  • Track orders from request to delivery and ensure timely availability
  • Follow up on delays, discrepancies, and missing items
  • Work closely with Test Development Engineers to understand priorities
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Finance, Receiving teams, and external vendors to ensure efficient and smooth order processing
  • Communicate order status updates clearly and proactively
  • Support the day-to-day operation of engineering labs
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and organization of materials and components
  • Assist with incoming shipments: receiving, verification, and distribution
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized lab environment
  • Track and manage lab-related assets and consumables
  • Identify inefficiencies and contribute to process improvements
  • Collaborate with local and global ESA teams to share best practices

 For This Role, You Will Need: 
  • High school diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, logistics, business, or similar)
  • Good command of English (written and spoken)
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple departments

 Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: 
  • Experience in administrative, logistics, procurement, or technical support roles
  • Experience in a laboratory or engineering environment
  • Familiarity with procurement or supply chain processes
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Exposure to working in a global or cross-site team
