Join our Corporate Insurance team in a role that includes hands-on management of workers’ compensation, general liability, and auto liability claims; creation of presentations and reports; process improvement; AI opportunity identification and integration; contract reviews; and other responsibilities across the broader team.

As a Corporate Insurance Associate in the Corporate Insurance team, you will demonstrate proficiency in managing multi-state casualty claims, including workers’ compensation and general liability. The role requires attention to detail in serving as a “human in the loop” for AI-driven initiatives, adaptability through regular cross-training, and effective collaboration with experienced team members. Strong skills in contract review, compliance support, and preparation of presentations and project deliverables are essential. The position also demands the ability to represent the team at annual offsites and industry conferences, a commitment to continuous process improvement and innovation, and engagement with the corporate insurance sector.

Job responsibilities:

•    Manage casualty claims (workers’ compensation, general liability, and auto liability) for a specified geographic region.
•    Assist stakeholders with the claims process, including incident reporting, accommodating work restrictions, facilitating return to work, ensuring claims are adequately reserved, and participating in the discovery process for litigated matters.
•    Evaluate adjuster, vendor, and defense counsel performance; make changes as needed.
•    Partner with internal and external teams to understand data needs; help maintain reporting.
•    Create and participate in presentations and discussions.
•    Understand AI platforms and tools; help identify and implement applications.
•    Assist with Corporate Insurance contract reviews and other ad hoc projects.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

•    Degree in Business, Finance, Communications, or related field.
•    3 years of experience in business, insurance, finance, or related discipline.
•    Insurance background not required, but curiosity and willingness to learn about insurance is essential.
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced team environment.
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a “can-do” attitude.
•    Proven experience in project management.
•    Self-motivated, tenacious, and able to work with some oversight, but also independently.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
•    Experience with claims management systems and data platforms; direct experience with Riskonnect a plus.
•    Prior experience working with third-party administrators or insurance vendors.
