Position Summary:

The Senior Data Analyst, Supply Chain & AI engages in supply chain agility, operational performance, and cost efficiency through data, process improvement, and applied AI. Embedded within the Operations and Supply Chain organization, this role supports manufacturing, planning, inventory management, sourcing, and fulfillment across our global network, with accountability for real operational outcomes: service, cost, inventory health, and on-time delivery.

You will combine analytics, Lean and value stream thinking, and AI and automation to find the highest-leverage opportunities to improve service, cost, and reliability, and build the tools and workflows that capture them. This is a hands-on build role: you will bring agentic workflows into daily operations and business processes, with the room to define rather than inherit. Someone in this role will need to have operational analytics experience and a judgment to apply to AI where it moves the business. As part of the Data Analytics & Supply Chain team, your success is measured by operational impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain & Operations Analysis: Analyze transactional, demand, and production data across the ERP and operational systems to surface the inefficiencies, delays, and root causes behind order flow, material availability, build plans, and on-time delivery.
  • Inventory, Demand & Supply Planning: Partner with planning and operations to sharpen the master data and planning assumptions that drive planning accuracy. Build the models and processes that improve inventory health, anticipate shortages and overages, and align stock with customer demand and production constraints, using statistical and probabilistic methods to manage variability.
  • Data Governance: Collaborate with IT on data models, access, and governance standards, so analytics are built on approved, secure, and scalable data paths, and stay aligned as new sources and tools are introduced.
  • Decision-Ready Analytics: Build data analytic dashboards, models, and tools for business, while harmonizing data from multiple ERPs and sites into one source of truth.
  • Applied AI for Operations: Integrate agentic workflows and AI-enabled automation - turning unstructured supply chain data into usable signal, automating manual decision steps.
  • Sourcing, Cost & Supplier Insight: Analyze spending, purchase price variance, supplier performance, and yield to surface savings and strategic sourcing opportunities, and quantify the business impact.
  • Process Excellence & Automation: Apply Lean, value stream mapping, and continuous improvement to streamline operational processes and automate the manual work that slows them down.
  • Strategic Decision Support: Translate analysis into clear recommendations that balance service, working capital, and cost for operational, technical, and executive audiences.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Lead analytics initiatives end to end and grow the team's capability through mentorship and shared best practice.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in data analytics with a strong background in operations and supply chain, including inventory planning, demand forecasting, and hands-on work in databases and ERP systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI and SQL, used to turn operational and supply chain data into clear, decision-ready analytics.
  • Experience with predictive modeling, regression analysis, and correlation techniques.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Background in manufacturing, production, or warehouse operations, including production scheduling, capacity planning, and BOM structures.
  • Advanced supply chain methods such as probabilistic forecasting, demand sensing, and supplier reliability; statistical or ML modeling for forecasting and simulation.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or process excellence methodologies; experience supporting multi-site or multi-ERP environments.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Smartsheet, or other business intelligence tools.
  • Proven track record of building scalable, reusable analytical solutions and shipping them to real users.
  • Ability to distinguish signal from noise in complex datasets and provide clear insights for leadership.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and operational metrics - OTD, inventory turns, forecast accuracy, and working capital - and a track record of moving them, not just reporting on them.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead initiatives independently and operate with limited direction.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly to operational, technical, and executive audiences.
  • Hands-on with multi-source data across locations, ERPs, and systems like Databricks, Power BI, SQL, Python.

Working Conditions:

  • Standard schedule hours with occasional variation depending on production needs.
  • Occasional extended hours may be necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Minimal domestic travel required less than 10%.
  • Onsite work is required during standard business hours.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
