You will utilize your expertise in writing code in PL/SQL, T-SQL, and DB2 application development for LUW. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Design Database Applications: Design, develop, and test database applications to ensure they are efficient, secure, and meet the required specifications. This involves applying your knowledge of database concepts, data modeling, and SQL programming to deliver high-quality solutions. • Develop Code: Write code in PL/SQL, T-SQL, and DB2 for database application development on Linux, Unix, and Windows platforms, adhering to best practices and standards. • Test and Refine: Perform thorough testing of database applications to identify and resolve issues, ensuring they meet the required specifications and are reliable. • Maintain Database Systems: Maintain and update existing database applications to ensure they remain efficient, secure, and aligned with changing business needs. **Required technical and professional expertise** • RDBMS Development Expertise: Exposure to creating and maintaining database applications for various platforms, including Linux, Unix, and Windows, with a focus on efficiency, security, and meeting required specifications. • Programming Skills: Experience working with PL/SQL, T-SQL, and DB2 application development for LUW, with a strong understanding of database concepts, data modeling, and SQL programming. • Database Design Knowledge: Familiarity with designing database applications, including data modeling and SQL programming, to deliver high-quality solutions. • Testing and Debugging: Exposure to testing and refining database applications to identify and resolve issues, ensuring they meet required specifications and are reliable. • Database Maintenance: Experience working with maintaining and updating existing database applications to ensure they remain efficient, secure, and aligned with changing business needs. **Preferred technical and professional experience** • Data Modeling Knowledge: Exposure to data modeling concepts and techniques to design and develop efficient database applications. This includes understanding data relationships, entity-relationship diagrams, and data normalization. • Advanced SQL Programming: Experience working with advanced SQL programming concepts, including query optimization, indexing, and stored procedures, to deliver high-performance database solutions. • Cross-Platform Development: Exposure to developing database applications on multiple platforms, including Linux, Unix, and Windows, with a focus on platform-specific considerations and best practices.
