Join us and be part of a global team that’s passionate about driving innovation and making a difference. **Your role and responsibilities** * Design, implement, and maintain DevOps pipelines for z/OS applications including COBOL, PL/I, Assembler, and JCL * Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, UrbanCode Deploy (UCD), GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps * Implement and manage SCM solutions including Endevor and Git integration * Automate build, test, deployment, and release processes * Integrate mainframe applications with distributed systems, APIs, and cloud platforms * Develop automation using Ansible, REXX, shell scripts, and z/OSMF workflows * Collaborate across application, infrastructure, and security teams * Support hybrid cloud and modernization initiatives on IBM Z * Ensure high availability, performance, and security compliance * Troubleshoot DevOps pipelines and deployment issues * Promote DevOps culture and Agile practices * Implement monitoring using IBM Z Integration Observability tools **Required technical and professional expertise** * Strong understanding of z/OS architecture, JCL, TSO/ISPF, USS * Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, REXX, with knowledge of PL/I and Assembler * Experience with Endevor, Changeman, or similar SCM tools * Knowledge of CICS and DB2 * Hands-on experience in Jenkins, UCD, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps * Proficiency in Git and integration with mainframe SCM * Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes * Strong scripting skills in Python, Groovy, Shell, REXX * Experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML * Knowledge of MQ, IMS, CICS * Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, ELK, Prometheus/Grafana) * Knowledge of RACF or ACF2 * Familiarity with IBM Wazi, ADDI, Watson Code Assistant for Z * Knowledge of z/OS Connect EE **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Experience with Red Hat OpenShift on IBM Z * Experience with Zowe CLI, Zowe Explorer * Exposure to hybrid cloud architectures * Experience with CDC tools like InfoSphere Data Replication * Experience with OMEGAMON, Instana * Knowledge of Kafka, MQ, event streaming * Relevant IBM Z / Red Hat / DevOps certifications * Experience in banking or enterprise systems * Experience leading DevOps transformations IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
