Job Summary

The Senior PLM Program Manager will lead complex PLM transformation programs spanning business process definition, product development, master data, and cross-functional delivery. This role is accountable for driving initiatives from definition through execution, ensuring alignment across business priorities, solution design, governance, milestones, and measurable business outcomes.

We are looking for a senior leader who combines strong program management discipline with solid exposure to PLM tools and transformation work. The right candidate takes ownership, brings initiative and drive, and moves work forward without relying on constant direction.


Responsibilities

  • Lead complex PLM transformation programs from planning through execution
  • Drive scope, timeline, governance, risks, dependencies, and business outcomes across multiple workstreams
  • Build alignment across business, IT, architecture, and transformation stakeholders
  • Translate business process needs into clear delivery plans, decisions, and execution priorities
  • Engage credibly on topics such as PLC hierarchy, product master data, product development processes, and PLM-related transformation needs
  • Provide clear executive communication, structured governance, and timely escalation of risks and decisions
  • Create momentum, challenge assumptions, and drive clarity in ambiguous environments

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical)
  • Supply Chain/Operations Management, Computer Science or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in product engineering, supply chain, operations, or a related field.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong experience leading complex programs or large-scale projects in enterprise transformation environments
  • Strong exposure to PLM tools and PLM transformation initiatives
  • Experience defining business processes and translating business needs into structured delivery plans
  • Good understanding of product development processes, PLC, hierarchy, and product master data concepts
  • Familiarity with Windchill, Team Center, SAP PLM or similar
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills across working teams and senior leaders
  • Proven ability to operate with ownership, initiative, accountability, and follow-through in complex, matrixed environments
  • Hands on experience with product data (BOM, SKU, costing)

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to Agile or hybrid delivery models
  • Experience contributing to PMO standards, governance models, or delivery playbooks
