Environmental Protection Specialist

This position is in the Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention, Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics, Existing Chemical Risk Management Division. About: The Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to one of the duty stations stated in this announcement on a regular basis (location TBD after candidate selected). You will: Lead the development and coordination of programs and strategies relating to chemical substances under the Toxic Substances Control Act. Provide authoritative policy and technical expertise to support regulatory and programmatic decisions for existing and legacy chemicals. Represent the Agency to stakeholders by building effective working relationships, providing policy and procedural guidance, and resolving issues as they arise. One or more positions may be filled (in the organization advertised and/or in other organizations), if appropriate to the position.
