Job Description:

The Wealth Cares Complaint Officer is responsible for workflow management and case assignment to Wealth Cares and/or the respective Wealth line of business.  They act as the central point of contact for front line Wealth Advised employees and business partners on level 2 complaint matters.  They will also be responsible for ensuring regulatory filings are completed along with respective follow-up within the team.  This role will also play an integral role in the complaint reporting processes.  They provide legendary colleague experience through a combination of expertise, experience and documented principles/practices.  Reviewing submissions to determine if they are deemed regulatory and sent to Wealth Cares or service and advising the respective business contacts to manage. 

  • Ensuring all Wealth Cares complaints are documented onto a database with a goal to protect data integrity. 

  • Liaising with TD Wealth and other TD business partners regularly to verify facts and guidance. 

  • Identifying systemic issues and trends and developing potential solutions through detailed and accurate reporting; 

  • Taking ownership and responsibility to ensure an immediate solution to triage files along with follow-up to meet established regulatory deadlines; and 

  • Assist with special projects, as required.  

 

Job Requirements 

  • Results-oriented individual with superior written and verbal communication skills, judgment, and business acumen; 

  • Thorough knowledge of Wealth Management 

  • Attention to detail, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities; 

  • Knowledge of TDCT and Wealth processes, products and services; 

  • Ability to interact and work with individuals at all levels of the organization; 

  • Proven ability to work independently, manage and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines. 

  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, Access, Power Point; 

  • Ability to operate in an evolving and often changing environment; and 

  • Willingness to embrace additional responsibilities as required. 

  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset. 

 

Preferred Education and Accreditation      

 

  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and/or Investments Funds in Canada (IFIC);  

  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and/or Professional Financial Planning (PFP); 

  • Wealth Management Essentials Course (WME); 

  • Other industry courses are an asset.
