To this end, we focus on building scalable and reliable infrastructure that drives Google’s capability to provide relevant and engaging results through multimodal understanding. As we shift to the AI era, our work is critical to providing rapid media signal iteration for training dataset curation, and the foundational video and image indexing architecture that can leverage the full power of Gemini to unlock the next generation of AI-powered content understanding. US: $174000 - $253000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits Learn more aboutbenefits at Google (https://www.google.com/about/careers/applications/benefits/) . **Responsibilities** + Write and test product or system development code. + Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality. + Lead efforts to modernize Google's foundational media indexing architecture by designing a seamless, automated pipeline where signal owners can self-onboard with minimal friction. + Collaborate closely across the stack with teams from data indexing, content ingestion, content understanding, storage, and serving, to identify the problems, align the agenda, and transform the indexing capabilities to support the growing indexing needs across Google. + C++ is the primary implementation language, with Python and GSQL for data selection and analysis.
