Accountabilities:

    In this role, you will lead a growth-focused engineering team, enabling engineers to deliver impactful product improvements while fostering a culture of experimentation, collaboration, and continuous learning. You will be responsible for connecting technical execution with business outcomes, helping teams identify opportunities, run experiments, and scale successful initiatives.

    • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team, creating an environment where team members can deliver their best work.
    • Partner with Product Managers, Designers, Data teams, and other Engineering Managers to define and execute initiatives that improve user discovery, activation, engagement, and expansion.
    • Own team delivery by supporting planning, prioritization, execution, and measurement of growth experiments and product improvements.
    • Drive experimentation practices, including hypothesis development, prioritization frameworks, analysis of results, and scaling successful outcomes.
    • Guide technical architecture, implementation decisions, and engineering tradeoffs to ensure solutions are scalable, measurable, and aligned with long-term goals.
    • Support cross-functional initiatives that span multiple product areas while maintaining clear ownership and effective collaboration.
    • Facilitate strong communication practices across distributed teams, ensuring alignment between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Promote AI-driven workflows and experimentation methods to improve productivity, accelerate delivery, and uncover new opportunities.
    • Help establish operating rhythms that enable teams to move quickly while maintaining high standards of quality and ownership.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate is an experienced engineering leader who combines strong technical expertise with a passion for product growth, experimentation, and team development. You should be comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where data, collaboration, and innovation drive decision-making.

      • Proven experience managing software engineering teams with a track record of building strong, high-performing, and inclusive teams.
      • Strong technical background with experience guiding full-stack engineering projects, architecture discussions, and product-focused delivery.
      • Experience partnering closely with Product, Design, and Data teams to deliver measurable business and user outcomes.
      • Ability to operate effectively in a data-informed environment, using metrics and experimentation to guide product decisions.
      • Strong understanding of growth engineering principles, product-led growth strategies, and user journey optimization.
      • Experience managing remote, globally distributed teams and working effectively within an asynchronous environment.
      • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations for diverse audiences.
      • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to create structure in ambiguous situations.
      • Experience using AI tools, automation workflows, or AI-assisted approaches to improve engineering productivity and solve complex challenges.
      • Ability to collaborate across multiple teams while maintaining focus on strategic priorities.
