Manage and maximize sales within an assigned geographic territory
- Develop and implement territory business plan in support of company goals and objectives.
- Develop and manage sales channels for all industrial vacuum products in support of territory goals and objectives.
- Conduct frequent customer visits either direct or jointly with channel partners.
- Document and manage sales activity including customer visits, opportunities, and account information through active use of Salesforce CRM – prior experience in SF is preferred.
- Conduct regular reviews with distributor and reps.
- Provide technical support for automation and vacuum Automation product lines.
- Work in conjunction with other Piab departments to cultivate and manage sales activity within a region.
- Participate in Piab hosted annual distributor /rep meetings, events, and activities.
- Assist when needed with trade show preparation and coverage.
Product training and education
- Inform/teach customers and sales channels about new products, application successes, and Piab’s various support tools including the optimized vacuum management program.
- Participate in joint and direct sales calls based on potential or strategic account value.
- Provide specific training for distributors/reps, outside and inside sales, through web casts and site visit.
- Assist distributors/reps in providing regular vacuum training sessions for end customers.
- Provide Sales Manager (SM) with weekly and monthly updates about significant territory activity, opportunities, and issues.
- Inform SM about market conditions, competitor activity, and product development opportunities.
- Work with channel partner(s) to support the region and achieve territory goals and objectives.
Service the Customer
- Always understand the customer's view.
- Always respond to the customer, even if you do not have the answer.
- Go beyond your accountabilities and do what it takes.
- Follow the CIR (Continual Improvement Report) guidelines--responsible for reporting non-conformities.
Expense control
- Timely and accurate preparation of expense reports.

- Seek and acquire new skills as deemed necessary in support of Piab’s

- Take an active part in team efforts to achieve / surpass team goals.
- Perform the above duties in a manner consistent with the ethics, core values, and mission that Piab has set for a standard.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years sales experience in same or related vacuum environment as Piab.
- Prior good contacts within the same vacuum environment as Piab, able to bring on-board ready or potential business opportunities quickly.
