Role Overview
We are seeking a Korean-bilingual Electrical Maintenance Technician (Industrial Electrician) with strong PLC and HMI programming/design skills to support newly established Tennessee operations. This role ensures the safe, stable, and efficient operation of aluminum extrusion presses, anodizing surface-treatment equipment, CNC machining centers, and automated production lines.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, routine, and corrective electrical maintenance
- Troubleshoot and service PLCs, HMIs, drives, motors, sensors, and automation control systems
- Maintain electrical systems on extrusion lines, robots, conveyors, and power distribution equipment
- Support PLC/HMI program updates and integration with MES/SCADA systems
- Maintain documentation — electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and panel records
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and lockout/tagout (LOTO) compliance
- Monitor electrical load and support energy-efficiency initiatives
- Participate in new machine installation, commissioning, and testing
Qualifications
- 4–5+ years of experience in a related industry preferred (aluminum extrusion, aluminum surface treatment/anodizing)
- Advanced-level PLC and HMI programming/design experience
- Experience with Siemens, Mitsubishi, Selectric, and/or Allen-Bradley (AB) PLC systems
- Willingness to work day shift or day/night rotation (day-shift-only acceptable)
- Eligible to work in the U.S., or currently based in Korea with ability to obtain a long-term U.S. work visa (sponsorship available)
