Technical Supervisor

Business Unit: Work Dynamics

Position Summary

The Senior Technician will lead maintenance operations and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring optimal resource utilization and operational excellence. This role requires a strong problem-solving mindset, critical thinking abilities, and proven technical expertise to maintain building systems, coordinate maintenance activities, and drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Operations & Coordination

  • Manage corrective and scheduled work orders generated through Corrigo CMMS, ensuring timely follow-up, quality review, and proper closure
  • Execute and maintain preventive maintenance programs according to established schedules, identifying opportunities for optimization
  • Conduct regular facility inspections per annual schedule, document findings, and generate work orders for identified deficiencies
  • Apply critical thinking to diagnose complex technical issues and develop effective solutions that minimize downtime

Inventory & Resource Management

  • Coordinate monthly inventory assessments and supplies requisitioning to maintain optimal stock levels
  • Ensure all documentation including inventories, technical reports, and inspection records are properly organized, accessible, and archived according to retention policies
  • Maximize efficiency of departmental resources through strategic planning and allocation

HVAC Systems Management

  • Oversee maintenance operations for site air conditioning systems, applying technical proficiency to ensure optimal performance
  • Monitor preventive maintenance compliance for all HVAC equipment
  • Troubleshoot system issues using analytical skills and field experience to implement timely corrective actions

Quality Assurance & Vendor Oversight

  • Support operational audits of service providers, evaluating scope compliance, quality standards, and regulatory adherence
  • Apply critical judgment to assess vendor performance and recommend improvements

Team Leadership & Safety

  • Supervise maintenance workshop staff, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and performance expectations
  • Maintain safe, organized, and efficient work areas including workshops, substations, rooftops, and storage facilities
  • Foster a culture of ethics, respect, and continuous improvement among team members
  • Leverage field experience to mentor technical staff and develop their problem-solving capabilities

Reporting & Communication

  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports to Operations Manager detailing inspection results, testing outcomes, completed work, and audit findings
  • Document all deviations with corresponding work orders in Corrigo
  • Monitor and ensure Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance for all work orders

Required Qualifications

Education & Certifications

  • Technical degree or certification in Electrical Systems, HVAC, Electromechanical Engineering, Electronics, or related technical field

Technical Skills

  • Proven expertise in building infrastructure maintenance including civil, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
  • Basic networking and communications knowledge (internet, ethernet, LoRaWAN, BACnet)
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex technical problems and implement effective solutions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite
  • Basic English language skills

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in facilities maintenance with increasing responsibility
  • Field experience managing and troubleshooting building systems in operational environments
  • Experience supervising technical personnel
  • Background working within multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience in technological tools such as JLL Serve
