HealthPartners Clinic Stillwater is looking to hire a Clinic Registered Nurse to join the Family Medicine and Pediatric team!  Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

Position Summary

This role performs primarily telephone triage as part of the care team. Utilizes a systematic approach to nursing practice incorporating assessment, planning, nursing, diagnosis, implementation and evaluation in accordance with the nurse Practice Act, recognized professional standards and HealthPartners policy.  Accountability for the quality of care delivered, recognizing the limits of knowledge and experience; addressing situations beyond the nurse’s competency; and performing to the level of education, knowledge, and skill ordinarily expected of an individual who has completed an approved professional nursing education program.  Supports a department within a clinic setting with strong interpersonal skill and flexibility while maintaining patient confidentiality and protecting patient rights.  Promotes a safe and therapeutic environment of care and advocates for the best interests of individual patients. 

Work Schedule 

Monday: 7:30AM-5:00PM
Tuesday : 7:30AM-5:00PM
Wednesday: 7:30AM-5:00PM
Thursday: OFF
Friday: 7:30AM-5:00PM

Required Qualifications

  • Education/Experience:
  • Graduated from an accredited school of nursing
  • 1 year of prior experience in nursing preferred
  • Licensure/Certification:
  • Maintain a current Minnesota and Wisconsin registered nurse’s licensure. 
  • Current BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines
  • Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses:
  • Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development necessary to provide appropriate care to the patient population served and ensure safety of patients.
  • Possesses the qualities of strong critical thinking skills and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and maintain standards of clinical skills and professional ethics as established by the Nurse Practice Act
  • Critical thinking, Excellent Interpersonal Skills, Fluent in EMR (EPIC) use
  • Understanding of Nursing Practice Act and Scope of Practice for various roles
