The Role

We’re looking for a driven and customer-focused Account Manager, SMB to help drive the growth and expansion of our current customer base! As an Account Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving revenue growth by identifying opportunities for customers unlock additional value from their CompanyCam subscription - whether through adding users or upgrading to a higher tier. Partnering closely with our Customer Success Managers, you’ll identify accounts with expansion potential and lead conversations to convert those opportunities into revenue. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, working directly with customers to understand their business goals, provide tailored solutions, and ensure they’re getting the most out of our platform. Location: Remote - Candidates must permanently and currently reside in the United States.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the growth and expansion of our current customer base by identifying and securing upsell opportunities.
  • Educate customers on the benefits of upgrading to a higher tier or adding more users to enhance their experience with CompanyCam.
  • Proactively meet with customers to understand their current processes and identify business challenges.
  • Perform product demos to showcase features and solutions to potential customers.
  • Partner with CSM’s to identify growth opportunities within accounts.
  • Create a pipeline of opportunities and maintain reliable forecasts to ensure consistent growth.
  • Listen to customer feedback to help inform product and marketing strategies.
  • Support customer inquiries regarding their accounts, collaborating with CSMs to ensure customers are educated on how to best utilize our platform.

  • Drive revenue growth by helping existing SMB customers expand their investment in CompanyCam through additional users and plan upgrades
  • Build trusted customer relationships that uncover business challenges and identify opportunities to deliver greater value
  • Partner closely with Customer Success to create a seamless customer experience that supports adoption, retention, and long-term growth
  • Influence product and go-to-market strategy by sharing customer feedback, trends, and expansion insights
  • Help customers maximize the value of CompanyCam by demonstrating solutions that improve their workflows and business outcomes

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in account management, sales, or similar revenue-generating roles.
  • A track record of thriving in high-volume, fast-paced environments - you're energized by velocity, not worn down by it.
  • A career-focused mindset: you're looking to grow and advance, not settle into SMB account management long-term. You see this role as a launchpad.
  • Highly self-driven and adaptive, with the ability to shift priorities quickly and stay motivated without heavy oversight.
  • The ability to prioritize value over features, always focusing on how your solution solves customer challenges and meets their needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong customer relationships and effectively convey product value.
  • Experience in SaaS or technology preferred, particularly if you've worked with a high volume of SMB accounts.
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • A growth-mindset, with a focus on learning, embracing challenges, and continuously improving.
  • A knack for creativity and innovation, bringing fresh ideas to the table and solving complex problems.

Benefits & Compensation

This is a salaried position at CompanyCam. Our starting salary range is $50,000-$60,000 per year and is based on experience. Our average on target earnings (OTE) are around $80,000 and our commission is uncapped. We also offer meaningful equity and other benefits.
