Position Summary
The Global Sustainability Coordinator reports directly to the Global Sustainable Operations Integration & Strategy Lead. This role provides critical operational support to a fast-paced, global team managing a marquee client's aggressive sustainability portfolio, including decarbonization, water management, and energy cost optimization. You will bridge the gap between facility operations and data-driven sustainability, executing tasks that ensure the integrity of global performance metrics and the efficiency of operational workflows. This role is designed for a technically inclined professional seeking to grow their expertise in facilities operations, carbon management, sustainability systems, and continuous improvement methodologies within a high-impact environment.
Program Support & Coordination
Provide administrative support for global sustainability initiatives under direct supervision of senior staff members
Under guidance, support the creation, maintenance, and update of program documents
Maintain tracking records for the lifecycle of assigned initiatives under supervision
Coordinate a global carbon management program, focusing on refrigerant management and operational energy conservation programs among cross-functional teams including HVAC, sustainability, and technology functions
Support regions by maintaining tracking systems (energy, water, waste, emissions) and compiling data from JLL and client platforms (e.g., utility data platform, refrigerants management data system), and preparing basic status reports under guidance
Assist in organizing and documenting technology-focused improvement sprints, helping coordinate stakeholders and track action items to support operational efficiency gains
Communication & Meeting Support
Collect and document stakeholder feedback to inform project design and prioritization
Coordinate logistics for governance meetings, decision-making routines, newsletters and other communications
Draft basic program updates and status reports using provided templates
Support communication strategies by collecting, formatting and distributing program materials as directed
Resource and Team Collaboration Support
Support continuous improvement efforts by helping document process workflows, track improvement metrics, and organize materials for process optimization reviews
Maintain records of necessary resources (people, technology, partners) and monitor resource utilization across a wide range of global strategic activities for the account
Help maintain a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team
Required Skills & Experience
Associate's or Bachelor's degree highly preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
2-3 years of professional experience in an administrative, coordination, or project support role, preferably within sustainability, real estate, manufacturing, construction, operations, or a related field
Experience in administrative or coordination roles supporting projects
Experience supporting complex, data-driven, and cross-functional projects
Ability to work effectively as part of a team under supervision
Ability to coordinate different groups to achieve objectives
Familiarity with data entry, tracking, and basic reporting in digital platforms for project and data management
Proficiency in tracking performance metrics and managing project timelines
Ability to follow direction, seek clarification when needed, and execute tasks with attention to detail
Demonstrated interest or foundational experience in building systems (HVAC/MEP), utility data analysis, or carbon management, with a strong desire to apply technical/analytical skills to drive sustainability and carbon-reduction outcomes
Exposure to or interest in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Agile/Sprint frameworks) with ability to support process documentation and improvement tracking activities

Estimated compensation for this position:
87,100.00 – 114,400.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
