Accountabilities:

    The Senior Accountant will support core accounting operations by ensuring accurate financial reporting, improving processes, and providing actionable insights to support business decisions. The role requires strong ownership of accounting activities, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams.

    • Support the end-to-end monthly close process by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial reporting activities.
    • Analyze complex account activity, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend solutions to simplify and streamline accounting processes.
    • Maintain accurate fixed asset records and support ongoing improvements to accounting structures and workflows.
    • Assist in developing and documenting internal controls, procedures, and accounting processes to improve operational efficiency.
    • Research account activity and respond to financial questions from cross-functional teams with clear and accurate explanations.
    • Partner with accounting leadership on process improvements related to month-end close, reporting, and compliance initiatives.
    • Perform ad hoc financial analyses and support special projects as needed.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate is an experienced accounting professional with strong analytical skills, excellent organization, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. You should be comfortable managing deadlines, improving processes, and communicating financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

      • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
      • 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in an in-house environment or within a large accounting firm.
      • CPA certification is preferred.
      • Strong experience preparing journal entries, performing complex account reconciliations, and supporting financial reporting.
      • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
      • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work autonomously.
      • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across different levels of an organization.
      • High integrity, professionalism, and a proactive approach to ownership and accountability.
      • Proficiency with accounting tools, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
