Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS:
5 years Technology / Cloud Sales Management experience
5+ Years of Licensing, Engineered Systems experience, preferred
Ability to hire and train top Talent, new sales representatives
Ability to resolve customer satisfaction issues, customer priorities
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Effective written and presentation communication skills, ability to present to large and small audiences.
Ability to negotiate price, other concessions and terms and conditions.
Strong quantitative, analytical and conflict resolution abilities.
Experience selling Public Cloud Infrastructure or strongly related services at other cloud based companies
Other Preferred Skills and Experience
5-10+ years of enterprise direct sales experience with large quotas and shown success
5 years leading and Managing Sales Team of technology sales professionals and supporting functions such as inside sales, pre-sales engineers, Cloud, marketing and channels 5 years' experience navigating long sales cycles in a matrix environment with demonstrated experience in complex commercial structures
Experience selling outsourcing solutions or services to Vertical Industries
Operations, Development, etc.) within the Fortune 500 enterprise
Expert understanding and the ability to effectively evangelize multiple cloud adoption patterns including Hybrid, Data Center and Application Modernization, re-platforming, Cloud Native, Web-scale and High-Availability
Practical understanding of the concepts surrounding DevOps, Continuous
Integration, Micro Services and their impact to organizational change
B.S. or B.A. from a major university – engineering or computer science preferred
Public speaking proficiency with desire to train others and continue to explore and learn
Responsibilities
As a Sales Leader, you will serve as a strategic advisor, resource manager, and mentor to direct reports, inside sales representatives, pre-sales engineers, supporting staff, and channel partners. In this role, you will champion Oracle's complete cloud portfolio, drive new customer acquisition, accelerate cloud services consumption, and lead the planning and execution of regional sales initiatives.You will also act as a trusted technical and sales strategist, helping customers evaluate Oracle solutions and positioning Oracle effectively in competitive sales situations.A key focus of this role is driving the adoption of Oracle License Technology Solutions, including Database, Middleware, Integration, Security, and related technologies, across Oracle's Enterprise and Mid-Market customer base. Success in this role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships while delivering business growth. Overall responsibility for the regions sales, third party alliances, and customer satisfaction surrounding Oracle growing Cloud Infrastructure and Platform Services, Licensing and Engineered Systems portfolio.
